if u deposit $ now, probably u will have the new model in 2009. friend of mine usually do this arrangement in order to get the newest model, for instance, he paid deposit in 2005 for 997 turbo, probably the first shipment of HK. so if u are interested, pay a bit $ and wait till 2009, only think is you don't know the price for 2009 model....................
