Manchester United have reportedly made a ?0 million move to sign Juventus striker David Trezeguet.
United manager Sir Alex Ferguson is a long-term admirer of Trezeguet and has made a desperate attempt to land the Frenchman before Thursday's transfer deadline, according to various newspaper reports.
Trezeguet wants to leave the Turin giants after they were relegated to Serie B for their part in the Italian match-fixing scandal.
It is understood the player's father, who also acts as his agent, has already met with United officials to filter-004 a possible move.
