My 11 choice:

James

Johnson, Terry, Woodgate, A.Cole

J.Cole, Hargreaves, Gerrard, Barry, Young

Agbonlahor

I think Eng has many in form midfielders, but lack of top class FW (like Torres, Tevas etc). So why not get midfield control, & then use Cole & Young on 2 sides & Gerrard in the middle when attacking? Choose Agbonlahor coz he is in form & has a strong build.

No Rooney & Lampard coz they are not in form.

Yes, Ferdinand & Terry are close call - I just feel the former is too casual & sometimes make careless mistakes. Seldom watch Kirkland & Ashton, but probably the former will be more reliable than James (& James is near the end of his career).

I used to like Bridge for his consistency, but he just played too few this season. Sometimes I feel he lacks confidence & indecisive when playing. I think he should transfer to medium clubs for better career (but fortfeit the high pay?!!)

Carrick is just too average. If you look for speed, skill & attacking, Cole, Young, Walcott & even Downing are better choices; for defence, Hargraves, Barry; for long pass & assist, Bentley, Beckham, keyman: Gerrard, Lampard...They just have too many good MFs. Maybe Carrick should replace Beckham. It's too bad that Beckham is influenced by his wife & play in Galaxy (for the sake of close to Hollywood!?). His career is finished once playing in such low standard league.

u are right that Ferdinand and Terry are close call
both of them are the leader of their club's defensive line
But i regard Ferdinand being the better one in this season as he has improve a lot
also, his appeal can highly increase the performance of the defensive line

Regard to Kirkland, his recent performance in Wigan is better than James'.
Ashton is improving too. I still think that he has high potential, but not enough chances.

英 格 蘭 國 家 隊 領 隊 卡 比 路 表 示 ，他 正 在 準 備 與 史 高 斯 和 加 歷 查 會 面 ，希 望 他 們 能 夠 復 出 參 加 國 際 賽 。

現 年 33歲 的 史 高 斯 在 2004年 歐 國 盃 結 束 之 後 宣 佈 退 出 英 格 蘭 國 家 隊 。 而 30歲 的 加 歷 查 則 在 2007年 選 擇 退 出 英 格 蘭 國 家 隊 。
