for the preliminary interview:( J% w, i' e Y3 y

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

it's divided into 2 sections,
5 C) P9 s+ t$ F3 y# B+ k% O1 is impromptu talk3 k" O& Q- y& h9 Q d4 q
another is group discusion0 n' ?" g; H7 Y" P/ D9 M

all conducted in english# O( f9 H0 W7 ]9 j

impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

topic like "environment, biscuit...."

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion
