for the preliminary interview:! s6 Z7 u* r2 t/ N0 K

' X3 c1 V: n5 H  {6 rthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

for the extended interview:' @1 R  ~, O# X$ L2 T, G

& }9 }/ v0 F: p6 ?5 iit's divided into 2 sections,
! U9 E0 w5 `8 T2 Z1 Q1 is impromptu talk
. p# U. ]- R" B: t1 e9 @5 Canother is group discusion
  E! a) b8 W) h* k" s2 Q/ M5 i; l- _9 }  ^: m
all conducted in english

" [9 m: m5 v4 b3 ]- E+ B8 y9 ~3 {impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

topic like "environment, biscuit...."' R6 X5 ^4 c+ F; z  o+ A

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion' z) }; Z; g  r8 c. u" _  E

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
