for the preliminary interview:! I W, \# b9 D1 J( Q/ k! r

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......1 G& Q7 b6 P' ^: T# k |# T
# E# }( G- p, a4 b7 l0 l" {9 \2 f
for the extended interview:
+ O9 R4 P% y* G' Z" x" l ?0 c* I8 S
it's divided into 2 sections,
6 U0 s: B; s0 W1 is impromptu talk/ G2 }- v% G8 Y) K, }- u: ]
another is group discusion; C3 K4 `$ ?, n3 k5 |( J: e) F0 o
3 W7 j9 i3 B5 V4 r
all conducted in english" B! {' K# ]# p2 M9 M5 s& B

impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare0 ^9 m% |' R a1 L) K- o8 ?# z
+ d$ j: v2 w( j0 {, m& ]' a7 ]6 z, Q
topic like "environment, biscuit...."- E1 i$ W+ @3 P: k5 K! \8 W
9 ^2 {8 U9 j7 M4 a; Ngroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion' i5 p) N( p) x2 Y

4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes' O# F! v: k$ b" W
8 m" X0 W7 Q2 {7 W9 Kthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
