for the preliminary interview:

; O5 X3 r1 i& C) O8 N/ o  B: Tthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......6 s8 V5 z3 I& Q) N

8 a. g. O" E( X3 e* qfor the extended interview:' V- P- \% ^! m' a3 o

. A, Q* ?" g  E0 g! `7 \it's divided into 2 sections,
) R) [0 r3 b( g4 h. U4 f1 is impromptu talk3 T3 s, G* c/ W, H! I/ E
another is group discusion

) c/ p. _' @" H1 z, k3 P" F  Z% mall conducted in english% d: r5 M3 x+ o$ a* F, @

impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

D' k! ?/ E" K0 ogroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion+ B& i: w5 o" n) S7 E

for final interview:& e. K- E& V: J* I# }( L9 X

4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!* T( O; T2 I; K, P; R- z! E
