for the preliminary interview:# a( r# z; D; ?! c4 I* ]8 C

3 s. ]# R$ o1 A0 H! e' zthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......3 r* S$ N. l: k2 U

% H) R- D8 e. @9 C3 N# `2 qit's divided into 2 sections,; z) l) A' m% B
1 is impromptu talk
  c6 k3 T$ }4 Z( d) ?8 u. `' tanother is group discusion
' y7 x' z3 P7 R/ o( y, L& c9 S. ~  U$ K/ N
all conducted in english' Z( h2 A: A" q2 B( ?( Y0 f
  F4 G' c7 {: x- M' O0 |; d' D$ e
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare
& g3 ], B  H" l2 [3 c" ?) W( D) M$ u5 Q7 G! Y" s
topic like "environment, biscuit...."% b2 r2 R7 w/ _, @3 Z

6 H) u- {$ A( S( B1 g$ K+ `group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion3 O2 X$ l* L$ E4 }( P1 x$ d

for final interview:

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
