for the preliminary interview:& c4 V% S9 }9 \
( b- Q$ a' @! a& q$ e# ithere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......+ ~3 t% E& j# D; @) n$ q& ?
/ N6 f8 A; \ a4 ?' @7 Z" P' t& O
for the extended interview:

it's divided into 2 sections,& a5 Z) [; K' j3 |3 K( J9 b
1 is impromptu talk( ?4 S# Q; @2 r4 f5 O
another is group discusion

all conducted in english8 @% T' o/ i) g1 z+ ]
, R* u4 d: P& o N! ]impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare- f/ O: r |8 ` H( w
/ m3 @5 {* Z( K. E3 M& y2 {topic like "environment, biscuit...."/ p+ L: e( r7 ], W
% q* W7 Z8 [; I+ h* w$ v0 F' q6 v0 S
group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!; b9 Z" w' e$ n0 F( S9 r/ E
