for the preliminary interview:

2 [3 y5 J; o- P1 sthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......3 `- G3 y( c* f  W
- o6 u1 d9 n9 f& c3 X/ f  v5 i
for the extended interview:

it's divided into 2 sections,
3 ^3 j( W; ?/ z# m. y8 A4 K# o( C1 is impromptu talk
! O6 H" i, G, q$ w) e0 Z) I: panother is group discusion4 L; C: x1 a9 z$ ^

/ V' A& N2 l' p; D+ W* gimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare0 B- z$ r6 K+ }$ F8 `
( f5 U. E+ \4 F# k# P: w
topic like "environment, biscuit...."
; y8 L8 V+ ]& _
  H* M9 O- R' M! n+ s1 X1 i% }$ agroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion% L! R% [- C1 e5 a' o) ~! X4 [

+ S  ~4 _( R; U0 x4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!0 s; V" v, X9 ~5 a7 t, ]  N
