for the preliminary interview:, u  o( Q+ C% T
" B3 H' ?" I( X+ v  K/ X
there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......9 d3 w/ W7 q( q" o6 e  b2 j
% V! C+ y, L8 n6 O; i# ], J+ Q1 u
for the extended interview:- Z3 A5 Y8 `; l

/ q8 X$ K0 v" P( u* t# x0 Ait's divided into 2 sections,' N7 R* s% B9 a  \* t% b* h
1 is impromptu talk
; C6 {& k; _/ d: Zanother is group discusion
  f0 @" r5 O, }, Y/ o, W* h5 Q5 e, C* N4 M
all conducted in english
2 ]) |5 E/ w9 ?. V: f2 O7 w2 w  c
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare
) P+ \9 P5 `4 Z0 f" f# {; u8 N5 E$ G8 ]; F5 l1 J# w
topic like "environment, biscuit....". i6 c2 P& M5 ^9 C0 ?& w

$ w5 i: a* H+ w+ B) L. A/ d& d6 ugroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

for final interview:

9 }. B4 r+ h. p6 z- e4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes; _( ]( d3 K- \7 z
" s3 }$ Q1 c2 b6 t4 }6 K
the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!8 @* F8 {, V2 m! Y
