for the preliminary interview:9 D; C5 A: M) O7 f+ H

& E  X6 m+ M$ n- G4 W- e8 A! I; |there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

for the extended interview:
+ D) S( Z3 `7 x) b5 I7 S/ o7 U/ |$ u" r* E( T
it's divided into 2 sections,5 f) N6 ^" j. H9 n, e* x- v0 N
1 is impromptu talk
) F/ c: V7 D+ @& i$ `another is group discusion
8 q- o% N! X& Y& @2 W- J6 l$ H0 O' a" Q
all conducted in english
- H* j6 U6 [3 z% k6 _) A0 V, [0 U+ a& t) T
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

7 h2 T* x4 U* V$ b9 ktopic like "environment, biscuit...."4 E7 f! [  n3 ]" d: F7 o* ~

  W1 i' v6 {8 \, R' T' h, ?8 P: Wgroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion
