How about at the hospital?( s- s2 O* Z b0 O6 x9 m

I touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc.5 u6 S J3 x) ~% T* k) h6 j/ f
' b& }3 k" X3 r# ^4 S% L1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it.9 G0 W' j3 Z1 Q) p# n/ n; v2 s

When I touch the deceased, I kept telling myself this is not a person anymore, the person is gone and this (the body) is just the shell. If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up.

The ones with accidents in the ER are really bad, but we're too busy trying to save him/her to pause and think. |
