How about at the hospital?

I touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc.- }& \+ b9 g) u) R/ r
+ t2 i& g, H+ A: x" S8 H1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it.

8 f. L$ f( e+ y7 E# vWhen I touch the deceased, I kept telling myself this is not a person anymore, the person is gone and this (the body) is just the shell. If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up.: C( }: h, S7 q; j

The ones with accidents in the ER are really bad, but we're too busy trying to save him/her to pause and think. |
