for the preliminary interview:

6 _" @  u- W0 W! v$ I# Athere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

for the extended interview:' x3 \+ h* E! Z) O# U

0 \- Q3 J  B) K: I" q! sit's divided into 2 sections,5 b6 A7 ^) Q0 v1 J# c
1 is impromptu talk
+ g8 g# I, b, K  f; X' ganother is group discusion
9 J3 h' ^3 L; b+ |7 Z1 C6 c- p5 ?8 ~) N  W/ W3 z
all conducted in english
$ }# C; q- A( r* Y  D7 i& K2 t, I" \, \
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

topic like "environment, biscuit...."- y1 Y6 b, Z5 e. w7 M4 `
4 l; v+ X) J5 Y8 d
group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

for final interview:. x, k$ M8 T* c/ A

4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes  h9 w$ H4 |: u8 w3 u9 k

) k1 o9 c3 T8 r7 D4 }# a1 G$ Ythe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!6 T4 O& ~) E& a4 `& I
