for the preliminary interview:5 u# M: v7 z1 d# X" j5 y

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

1 is impromptu talk  n8 u2 t* `1 P/ h- W
another is group discusion

all conducted in english3 m- e! V, X6 }
" g4 U8 R$ z) {+ v1 k
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

! Y0 W6 Y$ j$ P- a  E  k4 Rtopic like "environment, biscuit...."

0 _) B- F/ b8 m7 W& B, Cgroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion: T0 o+ V; T5 x

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!7 X& K* s# x  p5 R3 V4 _+ ]
