How about at the hospital?

# h! n5 P6 r: g) E I- zI touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc.# T& d7 M& R+ Q' X% N
4 C/ T) a, f5 C9 I4 m# f( M1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it.

6 k# x j: y( h" A; ~" q/ AWhen I touch the deceased, I kept telling myself this is not a person anymore, the person is gone and this (the body) is just the shell. If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up.

( O/ w7 [# n3 g9 {0 aThe ones with accidents in the ER are really bad, but we're too busy trying to save him/her to pause and think. |
