How about at the hospital?

- s9 ~, Y' a0 dI touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc.# y" Q: ^7 I. a3 ?/ I- K
. v6 z, e9 P# T! S" [: c1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it.

8 [# |# e* L7 Y) C0 r& YWhen I touch the deceased, I kept telling myself this is not a person anymore, the person is gone and this (the body) is just the shell. If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up.

The ones with accidents in the ER are really bad, but we're too busy trying to save him/her to pause and think. |
