How about at the hospital?( `% M" s& b" J9 z; S9 B

I touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc.
) O9 C. S" e8 y4 c' B/ F* f% h# o, r$ \& S% M
1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it.& ` O. w4 |* q
$ Q1 @9 i- }" ]' OWhen I touch the deceased, I kept telling myself this is not a person anymore, the person is gone and this (the body) is just the shell. If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up.

The ones with accidents in the ER are really bad, but we're too busy trying to save him/her to pause and think. |
