How about at the hospital?

I touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc.

1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it.

; n8 G1 f; i# x& G) K5 u: |' EWhen I touch the deceased, I kept telling myself this is not a person anymore, the person is gone and this (the body) is just the shell. If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up.% y2 {% }7 F4 m7 B0 d1 s. _4 k
$ Q8 Q0 P' W6 Z. E$ i9 ?6 a7 ZThe ones with accidents in the ER are really bad, but we're too busy trying to save him/her to pause and think. |
