How about at the hospital?

3 \6 f9 K( v" v! I+ L( J- zI touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc.& G! J6 ~/ q- i# A9 M, _2 v

1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it., f& G+ Q5 e$ N$ W) {
6 t: g3 ]7 S$ K! C, l7 |$ ^When I touch the deceased, I kept telling myself this is not a person anymore, the person is gone and this (the body) is just the shell. If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up.& ~0 j) e* e; n- P( j

The ones with accidents in the ER are really bad, but we're too busy trying to save him/her to pause and think. |
