: s3 [/ m3 U2 D* vI touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc.+ X' {& A" f$ I& ]
3 j1 J8 `# B! {' z9 ]. M1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it.

( V1 Z1 p& ?" X& r: w) _When I touch the deceased, I kept telling myself this is not a person anymore, the person is gone and this (the body) is just the shell. If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up.
