I touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc.# `: L) \) R" [8 y# X
9 Z* N. K2 Z$ q" w1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it.4 M' e- I6 I1 m6 s& t' e2 I
2 C X: t: o+ |2 \- S n; ~) Z* KWhen I touch the deceased, I kept telling myself this is not a person anymore, the person is gone and this (the body) is just the shell. If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up.6 [/ W; j" k/ b x
