there should be an extra pop up just below your Internet Explorer address bar by the time you see this error message

; m) e/ R* p( h& g9 {0 |! \+ `right click that pop up and choose "allow"
  Y8 q. T* r& }" M8 N! |/ m' ]& R  ]1 Q# Z" E/ d& l
then you can see the active x item
