noway, simple is the best.
more complicate make the window much slower then before,
you did not try windows 3.11 in Windows 95 machine, It amazingly fast, and if it can run in 32bit, it will be much faster then WinXP etc, there are more and more rubbish in the Operation system (Win 95, 98, ME, 2000, XP, MCE) more and more is added to the system, but, no-one will realy use them all in all situation (including the tester, otherwise there will not be any update and bugfix required erery now and then)

not sure which OS is faster, but I like to try Vista as quickly as I could.... but the price is too high to buy.. it'd better buy a PC with Vista pre-installed....

佢隻軟件成日被人hack。
成日又要更新，麻煩到死。

除非你部機已經超越vista既推薦要求, 如果唔係實慢過xp....

最大缺點

不能通過router與其它電腦分享資料,

往腦場問,是現有Router唔support windows vista行網路上的芳鄰這個工能,唯一方法就是等,但沒有時間表

XP is much more faster and stabler then Vista, you will have to wait for a while before using vista, the recommended requirments for me to use that silly stupid vista stable =

a graphic card with 512MB
memory... 800~1000+ghz
a cpu dual core
a ram 1gb less and recommended = 2gb
a good main board with a good chipset north bridge and the south bridge
and ofcourse a dvd rewriter, but every1 has it nowadays =x

Vista 一定快唔過 XP，因為多左好多功能。
不過如果您部腦夠勁，同埋唔係打 game (Vista 好多 graph card 仲 upgrade 緊 driver)，咁兩者應該可以做到無顯著差別。

但再多過d時間...Vista 是取代XP...
但唔係依家...
仲要...Vista 需要好高既電腦性能...

i more support XP, vista need 2G ram and 512mb vga for smoothing running,

If you have the newest hardware, Vista might be alright, but I don't think it's worth upgrading if you have an older comp, I tried and it didn't work well.

I heard from my colleague that XP is stable than Vista, don't use Vista now

i don't understand why it is necessary for OS to need "好高既電腦性能".
Most people use computer just to surf interent, type word doc or excel spreadsheet.

It is just a way of commercial or business for microsoft / intel / computer vendors to make people keep on buying hardware and software.

I mean, come on, how many people really need core 2 duo or quad ?
It is just a way (and the only way) to keep the computer hardware price stay up.

ur a little wrong about the processors of dual cores & quad cores, those processors are NOT made for letting the price rise for the hardware components & those processors NOT specially made for gamers and normal users (making word documents, chatting surfing internet etc, those processors are more made for video editing dudes etc, and some companys who will need to run about 2~6 hard softwares which will use many cpu's calculation because of those more cores, the processor doesn't need to calculate so many things if ur running like 2~6 hard softwares. Many many video editting softwares use many memory and cpu's memory.

If ur thinking to buy a quad core for playing games, then u r doing something silly.
cuz a quad core is a piece a sjit for a gamer. A dual core is alright for a gamer, but not necessery.

Also a windows vista "could" be faster then xp, because of its required enquipment, and vista is a powerful os, but if you want to have ur vista running faster then ur xp, you will have to stack alot of money on your computer just for running vista faster then xp (silly work to do this).

出Vista 目的，只係話你知你張Display 卡同 CPU 同底板都舊喇，要去換。
我等緊 AMD X 4出。先換其他野。

好係 Rainbow 3 PC 版咁，都係話你你張Display 好唔掂，去買 XBOX 360啦
