for the preliminary interview:. E/ t( G9 L' F9 V/ [! ^7 D8 G

I# j% U/ S! w$ v bthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......' e$ ?; P5 K8 @% ?6 h5 u - f( n( N4 p; ^$ C0 o
for the extended interview:( [/ D0 D9 W$ `+ }3 X. V
( e9 W, K6 ^5 z8 |# w& Cit's divided into 2 sections, 8 Z) J! t* h9 l& u! @. |( S( F+ Y6 N1 is impromptu talk+ B) n X2 j* f: A2 N
another is group discusion$ Y5 n) j, n9 {" R1 L, Q, z
* q: B* ^" j Z8 uall conducted in english 6 b* q1 O0 [: ^) f K1 W" g& Z2 J. R0 F/ L( w
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare' Y& B$ H( f/ f+ X- W

topic like "environment, biscuit...."4 U+ k) g( Z. _# g: k- c" B# @

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion. 4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes 0 X2 F5 p; k6 C# I 4 C3 M4 ]5 S) D; ethe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier! $ ?) L, w, U1 t5 K ) S2 t" F8 E1 [9 p3 M! w4 a& A! W9 K! C* g
