for the preliminary interview: # S1 ~& {0 J' a) P3 L2 L4 |% N2 x1 s ( ?* s& b8 x C% Zthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......- @1 z# U# s, B. b2 \( B 5 f( _. V( U/ L% o& b5 a
for the extended interview:& w" b e3 r8 I2 T5 y
- Z1 o6 s: l" _$ G* ?4 Z2 }# S
it's divided into 2 sections,+ w4 g/ n" p+ T$ v1 R
1 is impromptu talk4 J# x( `% S) C; `8 B9 Y9 U
another is group discusion) h+ v2 U+ c4 L+ H
y/ B) Y/ I, n* T5 y' Sall conducted in english- s4 }! I& c. ?( b$ m

impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare $ r" ?. P* |! N% I) h7 @6 g! d9 w, q6 @; I# b
topic like "environment, biscuit...." ) h6 {, ]; D; d, z, r/ n, v/ ?7 z. k' O+ {% _
group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion" G# o& K! X9 P1 ?: K6 I& x, ]$ w9 r

for final interview: 7 y. Y8 H# `0 O* z' P1 T/ o" q& y, Y( u! U% Z$ K

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!2 |3 b! q6 u& f# p9 x1 x& @
