I guess you can see it from the player, club and national team (jersey/kit) point of view. like Kaka - he 's adidas, and adidas also sponsor AC as a whole , but Nike sponsors his national team. Messi's adidas , his club sponsored by Nike. Looks alright and even to me, Nike has Man U ,arsenal, adidas has liverpool and chelsea. Both also has a lot of other stars sponsored. so I guess it depends on event taking place and where the focus and attention is on.
but Nike T90 Laser boot is used by 35% Premier league players, which is quite impressive though.
