How about at the hospital?! O; K' y1 O% x8 h" R0 g0 G8 A
( G0 E, F* C$ J) yI touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc.

0 ?6 m) D% l5 D: t$ `1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it.

0 C/ V" L* m5 ?When I touch the deceased, I kept telling myself this is not a person anymore, the person is gone and this (the body) is just the shell. If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up.1 S' s; f) V1 s% O( h# |- a
1 c( k& h3 j( D' N& k, k, f) XThe ones with accidents in the ER are really bad, but we're too busy trying to save him/her to pause and think. |
