How about at the hospital?! i' J4 m* c2 y2 v) H' G/ B# n B
0 ]" B# M6 v2 `4 J( S1 x' zI touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc.# j1 G$ P! _; A
& {4 m. P. M' k1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it.

When I touch the deceased, I kept telling myself this is not a person anymore, the person is gone and this (the body) is just the shell. If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up.$ c6 N2 a( i+ K- C' [5 c4 z
. o( F _9 V+ h( CThe ones with accidents in the ER are really bad, but we're too busy trying to save him/her to pause and think. |
