How about at the hospital?

0 O8 p0 ]2 K* bI touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc.
) C$ X. G3 J6 K" I; {+ q/ V! M6 S6 ?' x* }) x# s, k7 t
1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it.0 v- q) g; ~! U& }0 h. A1 d) v

When I touch the deceased, I kept telling myself this is not a person anymore, the person is gone and this (the body) is just the shell. If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up.

The ones with accidents in the ER are really bad, but we're too busy trying to save him/her to pause and think. |
