I remember when I was 3 years old, Yes, 3 years old, I checked back the history.; d2 G; ]. v8 c) J" o6 T
I was looking outside.
# E$ p. V3 k$ m# y9 @8 Yand I saw some people were drinking champagne, celebrating something in a MTR train.
( E! q& Q6 N6 @( Pand they were dressing nicely.2 _0 B% m& ]# Q5 x  I
Actually, that's the opening party for MTR trains in 1979.$ q. f4 {* f/ I* [' t8 `

Then I got nightmares everyday, cos the railway track...is just about 40m away from my home., j$ V4 _- H/ u) w! ~1 A; [+ u
I.e. I heard the noise from MTR trains in every 2 mins (or less in peak hours)
" B7 q/ D5 W" o- C* f9 x$ E! |5 nMore horrible thing was: my living place was closing to the exit for the train depot.
; m8 ~1 l' }. f; [* u( w: G- KI.e. when the trains are finished at 1am in the morning, I still need to hear the noise from trains until 2am every morning, and I heard the noise from the train before 5.45am in 3 hours later.. O# ?; a0 V- H7 O

5 h/ X2 X+ f2 R' j* D; h, yBut if that's track work at overnight, i.e. you couldn't sleep for whole night.

i.e. that's why I speak so loudly now!
