I remember when I was 3 years old, Yes, 3 years old, I checked back the history.( x4 N& q3 B2 l
I was looking outside.
" n, J1 f# C" c! T8 D3 _; yand I saw some people were drinking champagne, celebrating something in a MTR train.2 r" v7 M& N2 L4 i8 |( V6 Y
and they were dressing nicely.
' w4 J0 g8 d4 h4 B+ `Actually, that's the opening party for MTR trains in 1979.

/ C) \6 d9 ~( b* A0 O  qThen I got nightmares everyday, cos the railway track...is just about 40m away from my home.+ _( m4 O0 T) Z, X5 T& b
I.e. I heard the noise from MTR trains in every 2 mins (or less in peak hours)
7 [- M* h3 V8 |More horrible thing was: my living place was closing to the exit for the train depot.: f! v: x, F( {! g. }& h
I.e. when the trains are finished at 1am in the morning, I still need to hear the noise from trains until 2am every morning, and I heard the noise from the train before 5.45am in 3 hours later.

But if that's track work at overnight, i.e. you couldn't sleep for whole night.
