I touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc.3 B4 K& M& j" Y8 A. R% @

1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it.

' k( N4 m! y3 U- X5 i' l5 ^, EWhen I touch the deceased, I kept telling myself this is not a person anymore, the person is gone and this (the body) is just the shell. If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up.0 {, p& T; H- @- V' S
( Z8 G, i9 x+ D. x7 W& S7 AThe ones with accidents in the ER are really bad, but we're too busy trying to save him/her to pause and think. |
