i believe that can be easily explained by newton first law.( y7 ]+ S# s! D& `; f" q
When no net force act on a object, the object will travel with constant velocity.

Since the water on the earth will be attracted by gravitational force, it will fell on the ground.. {. S4 b8 Y6 a' F$ `
