for the preliminary interview:5 m# K! x, B; q) h% S. {; ?( Z

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc....../ V7 E) m! U& F# p
4 J+ C0 o& ]# r* {0 Y7 A: Q) x, `& Vfor the extended interview:4 c/ \1 h+ ~' y) e
# J9 N" W* l* k& @
it's divided into 2 sections,! E# a, X3 [7 B3 Z/ Q
1 is impromptu talk
1 [1 M5 @' L; y: manother is group discusion& s; I, p7 R- @ Y# c) L
4 R, P- {- e2 {# v' l' H' Z
all conducted in english

impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare( ]$ J# h2 ~6 k' g
' k6 t* a5 F4 _8 `( H) qtopic like "environment, biscuit...."8 P. _+ _/ T: z7 ]
) C( E, E/ p8 J! xgroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
