for the preliminary interview:; f& Z# w* a! j& J: M

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

for the extended interview:" f2 l5 K9 C4 S" M7 }

it's divided into 2 sections,
/ K/ Y9 i# N! M z7 A" o) t1 is impromptu talk2 X8 R; T" ^/ w
another is group discusion: L4 G; D0 M) D' t- W' t
. J% z* z2 l, a( rall conducted in english
/ A, F+ F6 v$ p$ C% e( `2 T$ A% l# f
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare0 T( X$ G- [: q% f! y; Z! q* Z
* j4 [' m$ L, e$ F1 \topic like "environment, biscuit...."' f/ j) b3 Y8 b- I, h
6 V& W1 j0 i4 A' E, I, jgroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion x9 f% `8 k |/ G

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
