for the preliminary interview:& j1 F1 X+ K) q" Y, Z

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......1 |* X) m  j* S. h

& }" h7 _  U8 d" ^9 z( i6 L  sfor the extended interview:

it's divided into 2 sections,
( ~5 }/ g% S; H* y1 is impromptu talk
' K  @, r# q: [& x' n4 Banother is group discusion
$ x6 a- u$ s' Q( w" N: I; c
$ w8 x0 e! L. \0 K8 I& [  ]all conducted in english
/ E6 n- }) P( h, d* d) V5 Y& r+ U0 ^6 L. x  V' e, L8 k# t( |
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare
& _4 F7 m  ?% E& S- d  ?. ~- C7 R9 {. p
topic like "environment, biscuit...."

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion6 v8 T7 s6 d) K* C7 e

4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes

4 y) a- S/ V$ ~' Y8 U% Kthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
