for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

1 q" i5 D) t+ j3 K( mfor the extended interview:: D  p! z2 D6 B- o" ^2 p
' O8 \  I8 ^, V7 B1 e5 m+ ?% L2 z
it's divided into 2 sections,( L. u. K5 p& F6 i# z4 `% n
1 is impromptu talk: K! l  [; ?$ ]# j! I4 X
another is group discusion
9 ?: M8 v& N! ~/ d; }4 _$ C- y4 R  q) k5 f" W. k' i
all conducted in english8 c3 `. r. |7 F3 T' r. u3 v/ I* \1 E
- y; p" K' K; Z: ^2 \6 J8 l, w
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

; p( M- [% g, b/ H; j  Y+ otopic like "environment, biscuit...."! ^" j9 s1 a1 J0 ~

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion7 I6 @$ O0 `9 l1 W

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!. }8 |2 Y! E4 S. a* P, P9 V
