for the preliminary interview:: M6 U  ^5 i& {- `! O* q. C

2 Z; H' J: Y/ t: h( e' ~there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......
0 e' W+ O7 x( q/ T: V- |% z
2 b5 }6 J- d1 o' f0 W% R$ ~' mfor the extended interview:
" ?5 ^+ n! H4 c9 }$ ~9 j) q) J+ g! r0 ~1 x9 M
it's divided into 2 sections,
0 h! ?; J, b: ~7 h1 is impromptu talk! `* E1 W( Q4 q
another is group discusion
5 m1 A$ w( O  U- Y$ o% e$ K. _* l
all conducted in english
0 g6 r/ q& ^: q) N' z/ N1 x2 j4 [) D
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare
3 ~  O3 j" g5 I5 {7 ?: m  k+ i/ `( Y- d( V( c
topic like "environment, biscuit...."

3 `. \$ m# g" d% \group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion; D2 W8 C# u. C

for final interview:

! t8 H5 g3 ], q; X4 H- H4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes/ P1 v0 D4 f8 o. a% `

: d' }' W% B1 ]- F; C( cthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!5 S5 a4 Q* J: q: p% T- S/ ~7 O
