Feb 15 The Knicks may be close to a deal to acquire Francis from Orlando for guards Penny Hardaway and Jamal Crawford, and one of Trevor Ariza, David Lee or Nate Robinson, ESPNews reports. Orlando would likely include center Kelvin Cato in the deal as well.
Recommendation: The Knicks believe Francis and Stephon Marbury can co-exist in the same backcourt, something that is likely easier said than done. Orlando would rid themselves of Francis' contract, and get another young player to complement Dwight Howard as they attempt to rebuild.
