butcher is a good center back during early 80's, i remember van baston said that if butcher was here, he was hardly to finish the hat trick against england at 88 european cup. however, it is few chance for him to perform in international games after 86 world cup. so i select t.adams. the same situation apply on gary stevens.

actually, john barnes was a very skilled left midfielder or left wing. unfortunately, he can perform himself only at home. however, except him, no any alternative. maybe steven 賀治, the left midfielder at hotsput.

the best position for chris waddle is still on right though he is left foot. i remember paulo madini said it is very difficult to mark chris after the match AC against 馬賽 on 歐冠杯前身.

I remember when he was returning to Sheff Wed on 92-93 (first yr in Premier League)
He was the player of the year award (by media, not the FA one) (even he was 32 at that stage)

he's so skillful..............
