I touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc.

$ u. a0 ~0 p% b1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it.- p* z7 P, n2 d- T. p M% _3 R

When I touch the deceased, I kept telling myself this is not a person anymore, the person is gone and this (the body) is just the shell. If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up. D6 M. q; g+ q
+ R1 l: m1 E( p8 mThe ones with accidents in the ER are really bad, but we're too busy trying to save him/her to pause and think. |
