SIR ALEX FERGUSON has indicated that he is losing patience with Rio Ferdinand over the defender’s hesitancy in signing a lucrative extension to his contract at Old Trafford.
It is 11 days since Ferdinand was offered a deal that would enable him to eclipse Roy Keane as the highest-paid player in Manchester United’s history and Ferguson, already unimpressed by the 26-year-old’s public dalliance with Chelsea, is becoming concerned.

而最不利的係今季已經來咗個double
在數字上要一季直落贏arsenal三場好像好難咁

be his new midfield general.
The Daily Star says the German ace is seen as the player to fill Roy Keane's boots at Old Trafford. The 28-year-old, who is under contract for one more year at Bayern, caught
the eye of Ferguson when his former club Bayer Leverkusen beat United in the
Champions League semi-final three years ago.

The United boss would love to bring the German star to England - although the
uncertainty over Malcolm Glazer's long-running power struggle for the club could scupper a
move.
