for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

for the extended interview:

it's divided into 2 sections,6 M2 [; F! \5 o! z# \
1 is impromptu talk4 `* L2 ]3 m2 \$ R* X
another is group discusion

all conducted in english

impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare' w" k8 c# D) k3 r4 x' f' Z* V
v: F& w$ A5 f+ \( rtopic like "environment, biscuit...."

% n% ]- J0 P |group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion- G6 i2 T" m6 w4 i9 C6 Q) r

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
