for the preliminary interview:0 X$ @& F$ ~- w2 m# P. e

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

for the extended interview:

it's divided into 2 sections,
, j4 k- W0 K. i, A9 Y1 is impromptu talk
9 C5 Y8 b6 K) M& P& V6 sanother is group discusion/ i: {8 r: Q5 M7 t
5 e3 p! X( \% p" Iall conducted in english
; U/ s' }/ \/ s* L; z$ o+ H, `. u) V c- I
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare Z' D. f5 q/ _: z& G$ x7 g r
) S5 r& E/ i9 L: ]9 T+ h
topic like "environment, biscuit...."% }$ B' D, a+ m; c* j- O
( \) j$ E6 Z. P2 Z: ]* C! `$ h
group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
