for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......( g r- K5 d" Y8 P0 n+ d' {: C

for the extended interview:
3 ` [2 x! C! n9 s# ]* z1 [- Z4 b! Q6 s) m, c( O4 C d# ]: p- {
it's divided into 2 sections,9 W) ] W* X# y7 p( u
1 is impromptu talk

all conducted in english9 v+ L5 @! C, f2 J- s$ c. y F

impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

topic like "environment, biscuit...."

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion$ b( d7 N& t" W9 y, x4 r

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
