for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......
1 x: J! D# t7 m" v! d3 G% }3 @0 Z! o6 m: r! e* E) p
for the extended interview:* T/ L$ f) y) ~- N0 e
8 b3 F$ W: J( R1 k" wit's divided into 2 sections,
L$ {3 m- K/ ~0 C9 c7 f y1 is impromptu talk, f0 l" y# G7 M; S$ H/ Z
another is group discusion
" C! G7 R1 P+ ^- M, ^+ K
: G# k" e2 T2 B G# g2 N+ ]* P+ F( Vall conducted in english

# T7 @; Z, \9 C+ H' `) }! Kimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare* B: z8 j( Z) N6 U9 M; w% u& [& j
+ U8 [5 n$ _' Q7 ktopic like "environment, biscuit...."

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

for final interview:' }9 z: \# v! G0 w

4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes7 n$ f+ h( Y1 v6 a! Z% \; N$ O
7 U' c1 m! H' k2 h- I4 othe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
