I touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc.
! D! _0 T8 ?8 P% l7 t, V0 G! \+ P0 w
1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it.# T* q) ?% `' ?9 c2 E
; s r2 g( N8 I- }5 pWhen I touch the deceased, I kept telling myself this is not a person anymore, the person is gone and this (the body) is just the shell. If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up.
