for the preliminary interview:
$ R( I, K5 Y5 n' Q" t1 D0 m- a& R* U5 [  t- _
there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......* h% ]+ G5 }, T: O3 Q& M

9 l6 Z. Z( Y1 ]1 yfor the extended interview:( T# r% c; S5 m1 a# @, y
. A. _% [$ b) o" H, [# f; d* R
it's divided into 2 sections,
5 N/ u8 y" y. t$ A+ q! b# }4 B1 is impromptu talk* U8 h7 Z! T* X3 ~, ]
another is group discusion1 @3 X, r0 n: \* X$ ~* I0 I
( K' [( D! H  Z+ i5 g7 v% B
all conducted in english

impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare& W% v# y% H5 E4 j2 m  b

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!+ w+ a+ F" Y9 \! B& s4 g( R3 `/ {) b- X
