for the preliminary interview:, D/ G5 k/ J* H) K9 r) P3 ?

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

for the extended interview:5 B4 T7 l; c. A& U" \' U7 a

it's divided into 2 sections,2 w5 F# o5 `" u2 V  ^
1 is impromptu talk
: v# ~+ e9 ^% y2 eanother is group discusion
0 c0 Q0 T9 I7 Y0 A7 D. M2 P) o8 d2 c: e7 x
all conducted in english8 E4 m8 a( s6 r

8 [4 d6 s! n/ e3 {impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare' y0 j; _8 X; R; |0 Q% r

: Y0 K9 e/ z* G- Otopic like "environment, biscuit...."& ?1 Z& ^. |' |+ A; i, L

0 t0 b0 K9 j; e+ X3 {) N$ `group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

for final interview:( B/ ]. W& [' j; L

4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
