for the preliminary interview:  `. ^3 Q$ y% @3 p, ~

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

it's divided into 2 sections,  E0 Q7 J8 N4 F+ O% y, \+ n5 e
1 is impromptu talk
" s* C( y& @; e5 y! j7 V' Vanother is group discusion
3 q2 j1 [1 {% v; \: p# d2 [- D3 w/ z1 o
all conducted in english' S7 \$ z: P! @/ N

" `, W( ^5 D% H/ M6 S* J: H! t" E& Fimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

topic like "environment, biscuit...."1 g. b! u6 \& k9 \

4 T& q6 ~" E2 N. w' @; sgroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion4 R6 c) b, N% B# P. Q

! h7 l5 J! y9 g+ H" \9 _4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
