for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

, D: S; o% m1 t; }
it's divided into 2 sections,& g, M' X; ^2 N; o# b8 g) h& v
1 is impromptu talk
2 X/ {, j$ o9 a; j& Ianother is group discusion# u, q# O) p1 Y

/ ]: T' K9 ]4 }8 rall conducted in english1 e6 j$ I9 v* ^( m
$ }2 u( H0 o. D: n/ Y4 d* T
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare
) |3 d& N  O" K$ |( x, m  R: y5 P+ s1 c& O, p: B  h7 R; i
topic like "environment, biscuit...."
$ B- x6 j, v- w1 M7 `: ~6 L& v5 @& X4 J2 D& g: W" m
group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion. V# R+ B# s# X- I7 Z; @

for final interview:

- ]; X% @7 H# ^5 Z$ w* B4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes

! l3 g" T. |3 e# tthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
