for the preliminary interview:

5 x) H6 k* ?0 V$ B' Rthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......4 X+ Z, d5 |9 a* J# s2 s5 _
, p3 [  U6 Y' A
for the extended interview:
1 M4 ^) A- s+ j- ]9 X* E
- ?% O: n: N# ?/ U8 Jit's divided into 2 sections,
" M, v' |0 `; I. R% D' ^3 A1 is impromptu talk5 R1 R9 l# z2 @1 T
another is group discusion
# {6 d+ ], J6 e3 {% S, y* m
) p$ g& t! ?; B  z6 R/ Hall conducted in english8 [# r& v% ^4 p* n
8 @8 f6 G& |) x# H2 x, O
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare7 f5 [  ^; p0 H2 P
1 t6 m( `- r. e/ r5 Z( a5 B" _" {
topic like "environment, biscuit...."

2 z  ^4 p5 E0 {& Ngroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion. m2 [9 O; n6 {& c
" E! W- Q6 a3 v+ S) }/ s# U- U7 f

for final interview:% L, y5 B7 V/ `$ R# l6 E
. S! o0 w& C' }/ l
4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes8 n/ v0 W9 \& V$ N3 S7 ^

3 H8 \% p! M0 u* Q2 {the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
