How about at the hospital?

* I% D. p% Z6 TI touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc.
! Y2 }% i3 ~" l/ R) e/ q9 z% |1 r+ l+ b$ x& R* M. x
1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it.- x- M+ f% r' o0 o4 S+ ]

When I touch the deceased, I kept telling myself this is not a person anymore, the person is gone and this (the body) is just the shell. If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up.: F) _9 P$ P) i
, J7 s. J! U, y/ f% v1 q( RThe ones with accidents in the ER are really bad, but we're too busy trying to save him/her to pause and think. |
