for the preliminary interview:/ f4 o% p, N. ~% A3 h

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc...... ' O$ O% B* D) m5 w# v/ u* H * x2 e& q4 T- {- r! d: D7 Pfor the extended interview: 5 d2 v: n" l/ O. J# K6 R b0 R/ c1 n# V; @) x
it's divided into 2 sections, 1 ?2 P* |: x8 G2 _1 is impromptu talk0 Y. y, W/ l7 }8 V
another is group discusion 3 B* ^( ?. a7 c 7 S6 X6 C4 o8 q9 Iall conducted in english 5 L! \1 \+ w+ R5 a4 H" \+ W, B G$ J* L8 Y6 Y( H+ T
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare 5 @& o% j& W" A: K0 z9 k. N' d, G- J( I( `5 @) V, }) E3 S
topic like "environment, biscuit...."7 J6 R O' e( W8 L7 m

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion 6 d! Q! r* t9 A" w! @: }( m0 I. Y$ v X# L * p2 Z* N; G0 r9 i: X! |, R
for final interview: 3 O6 v; H5 _# ~8 o% K" @- o: b* _ G% ]1 t( j4 l! e
4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes 2 Y) t k/ O, [# I2 b; [! D, l5 Y$ y: _
the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier! N v4 W3 {4 Z) ~2 O
