for the preliminary interview: 2 ~. n4 J# s+ p a' U' z5 p3 T4 Z- [6 Y$ t2 @6 D- q
there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......5 j+ L& x$ B" G! v1 e- y % w$ h! b' J( z+ I) \& f7 Efor the extended interview:' i# o' t8 E; c% J0 @# y
( }6 z6 @/ p5 o# @1 P8 D. B5 ?! rit's divided into 2 sections,/ T$ N- y, h& C8 w5 E
1 is impromptu talk # f" g+ i) J3 g' xanother is group discusion + z5 ^9 p) Z$ a2 o, |- r( h" e0 {6 V % |. V" r9 v" ` }" I% I; Y( Gall conducted in english7 r. c4 J' n! @: b* \. P( R% x* Z
# a) j& L/ p& m* n6 Qimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare9 f" ? a. A2 O$ Q

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion . S7 C# g4 |( W0 }/ f& q& t& i 2 K# C6 \# F. ~7 R" [# N, ]: C( D# b ; i; A# p6 a, i& R. {for final interview: ! h. u* t7 _+ D+ Z+ ^4 Q 0 A, ^4 @8 j8 u9 O+ @* {% F4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes $ x/ ^& e6 V9 F7 T1 X9 @6 ?7 O9 h, t6 b0 j* F! T; C) p
the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier! 4 Y: A' H3 j& k+ {9 l5 E 2 H! z9 l" u, i7 v2 z' H4 [3 B6 D) f1 t- `+ V8 g# z4 R
