i believe that can be easily explained by newton first law.
When no net force act on a object, the object will travel with constant velocity./ D' Y3 u! }9 b3 [" U# }8 F' ~
7 D* _" G9 h6 w5 I/ x! z5 Y& f

Since the water on the earth will be attracted by gravitational force, it will fell on the ground.9 v7 t( y1 P# I! G8 e7 l9 R

But in the space, no force is added on the water will u X the ball ,so the water will remain its old velocity(don't move)
