I touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc.

% K( p \/ q# d9 ` Y1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it.; u' l4 K1 \" A$ w
* j5 Y" m! i- Z1 e( e, _' m
When I touch the deceased, I kept telling myself this is not a person anymore, the person is gone and this (the body) is just the shell. If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up.
