How about at the hospital?

4 i! ~3 C1 S7 k% oI touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc.; e+ r" _9 q W, X
4 }/ ^0 e9 E& ~+ H) N2 K, a' l
1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it.

When I touch the deceased, I kept telling myself this is not a person anymore, the person is gone and this (the body) is just the shell. If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up." u( ~: d1 X' i- h, G3 M

The ones with accidents in the ER are really bad, but we're too busy trying to save him/her to pause and think. |
