How about at the hospital?

+ P4 s* F. z. d0 gI touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc.0 p3 Y9 t/ `2 ?# s! \* [
4 ~3 ~+ Q1 ^# F8 b3 x1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it.6 z: ^' ?2 U/ h
}% M/ c; g7 C' W$ B/ z; w( I% vWhen I touch the deceased, I kept telling myself this is not a person anymore, the person is gone and this (the body) is just the shell. If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up.

The ones with accidents in the ER are really bad, but we're too busy trying to save him/her to pause and think. |
