sorry, I can't agree to this.. we have no evidence to backup the interpretation...  whether or not it is a punishment.. I can only say I don't know.  but there is a lot we can do..  to care, to love the people, and to preach the gospel.

that's the point... you can think of 1,000,000 reasons (including punishment,  for fun and entertainment).. but so far no evidence... so i will keep saying that:  "i don't know", and infact i only care about the people, what we could do the help them..
