I remember when I was 3 years old, Yes, 3 years old, I checked back the history.

8 @6 q' H' V& b) j7 ]+ Zand I saw some people were drinking champagne, celebrating something in a MTR train.
8 }' e: Y9 ~0 [: ^' uand they were dressing nicely.
5 s7 a$ T2 \8 m3 g% Q' iActually, that's the opening party for MTR trains in 1979.

2 V2 o" d% K1 |5 w9 uThen I got nightmares everyday, cos the railway track...is just about 40m away from my home.
0 Y: x/ s9 q& l4 ?4 nI.e. I heard the noise from MTR trains in every 2 mins (or less in peak hours) " y) o! s. h+ a0 M- e. m" q; |2 d
More horrible thing was: my living place was closing to the exit for the train depot.
' Z0 |9 O0 C& s& M) G; OI.e. when the trains are finished at 1am in the morning, I still need to hear the noise from trains until 2am every morning, and I heard the noise from the train before 5.45am in 3 hours later.* g) N9 T" n8 c+ {$ w0 V

But if that's track work at overnight, i.e. you couldn't sleep for whole night./ ~9 @: _. _* z+ D
