I remember when I was 3 years old, Yes, 3 years old, I checked back the history.

and I saw some people were drinking champagne, celebrating something in a MTR train.
4 ?$ ?( |2 E" X7 _) S+ L5 Vand they were dressing nicely.
4 S! e" q/ g( a; s7 f! kActually, that's the opening party for MTR trains in 1979.
* J% M4 l1 t& J; |9 C* z2 l/ L% ^. ~' S7 @# J: {" y8 V9 l
Then I got nightmares everyday, cos the railway track...is just about 40m away from my home.# g3 \0 S" a) N7 e
I.e. I heard the noise from MTR trains in every 2 mins (or less in peak hours)
; S- d) h3 u7 {. W: L: c9 f; ~More horrible thing was: my living place was closing to the exit for the train depot.
9 D! s8 u6 h: E4 [- D) R6 C6 G# JI.e. when the trains are finished at 1am in the morning, I still need to hear the noise from trains until 2am every morning, and I heard the noise from the train before 5.45am in 3 hours later.  ?3 n0 h) v) g1 {7 G

But if that's track work at overnight, i.e. you couldn't sleep for whole night.$ S" l- W, c9 V" u6 r+ U: A7 l
