I remember when I was 3 years old, Yes, 3 years old, I checked back the history.1 d5 i/ U* M1 P! ~' E6 N/ _
I was looking outside.
8 I7 b. f( ?2 A6 ~- Aand I saw some people were drinking champagne, celebrating something in a MTR train.6 I( c; r/ M+ @8 }7 Z0 }
and they were dressing nicely.8 |1 T3 P+ C& @) b' J* V
Actually, that's the opening party for MTR trains in 1979.# N1 v: r  f$ u7 }

Then I got nightmares everyday, cos the railway track...is just about 40m away from my home.* N9 q$ [. j3 `4 D' e# ?3 ]. H7 x
I.e. I heard the noise from MTR trains in every 2 mins (or less in peak hours) , m$ R1 w! V$ Q' @4 O' i0 r' r& k( @) M
More horrible thing was: my living place was closing to the exit for the train depot.
6 ~, z: ~1 e3 X8 A' Q/ aI.e. when the trains are finished at 1am in the morning, I still need to hear the noise from trains until 2am every morning, and I heard the noise from the train before 5.45am in 3 hours later.; P! U/ F+ G# q

. l/ S9 e' @8 g7 z. [But if that's track work at overnight, i.e. you couldn't sleep for whole night., Y' |  S* k- G7 r- B+ X
