for the preliminary interview:

C1 j othere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......! j6 o& T3 u* g' o2 n; l

for the extended interview:& S1 M& E; j- Q6 D
3 P7 q9 D- G, C8 C, }4 k. `it's divided into 2 sections,

all conducted in english

impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

topic like "environment, biscuit....", F* u, r, x* O
) Z& p- F2 P: ^, U1 t* b$ g
group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

& Q9 j+ B3 J! G/ G& s$ Nthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
