I touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc.9 H2 I" j! ?! a5 k; [

1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it.

If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up.5 |. s) G0 a8 Z- x

The ones with accidents in the ER are really bad, but we're too busy trying to save him/her to pause and think.
