for the preliminary interview:* O- x! [) ?1 I8 Q \

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......5 V$ E" ?+ I& v( z6 i t3 @

for the extended interview:- ^* H% x$ G) y/ _

it's divided into 2 sections,
+ j6 x6 Q# [/ e2 B9 B' }% d1 is impromptu talk1 C* q2 i" Z Z4 Q: p2 z
another is group discusion
! N/ ]) S1 \( K& t+ ?) _2 W e+ e; H. h: K: s# s
all conducted in english u- i- t$ X7 p1 [& a' T
. @) u' }( D5 M6 l6 i. t
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare+ Q5 |% m4 ^- q! X# k
6 h% Q& A/ W* f! u/ `6 Ktopic like "environment, biscuit...."

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion i2 G- P" g r# l

for final interview:

4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes

0 _* l1 b& n% H0 ]. jthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
