for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......! U: ~& i$ H" Q) |" P4 p

for the extended interview:
5 w' f& w( F$ l' y& W5 c O& [2 Z0 u4 Q( F
it's divided into 2 sections,* u' c# R1 D3 q
1 is impromptu talk
( {* s7 K- F; Q" ^another is group discusion
' _8 k' S9 G2 T C( C, h A. j' _, \8 q# T/ ]" B
all conducted in english

* ?: @4 W0 b8 L8 k" _impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

topic like "environment, biscuit...."

Bgroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

for final interview:

$ e/ u7 h7 E$ u9 Uthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
