for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

for the extended interview:/ l5 O) p. V/ g4 d F
" W5 ^- Q( G' V4 T5 A
it's divided into 2 sections,
/ H% N: a0 b! r+ c f2 D1 is impromptu talk; t+ @- [0 e* R5 a) r. F* o t
another is group discusion

all conducted in english+ A: A8 y E; r9 t7 m2 B: W
& d7 c* }0 ]9 s9 ~! v8 Pimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

topic like "environment, biscuit...."( X2 [- z2 Z& r% ^) @$ z; B
# I6 A- K; x/ J2 k: |8 `group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
