for the preliminary interview:/ N* _. Z! \( _

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

; M7 g9 Z# Y, j; z$ [" e6 M7 l( O$ M- a4 R+ j7 x0 w& p2 {7 k
it's divided into 2 sections,+ Z5 F5 H# i- t+ u5 S( m0 o
1 is impromptu talk
! Z9 u0 d' o& w8 o8 M, danother is group discusion# S& K, D9 z" u: z" n

& I3 q' u' O4 A0 c6 v/ @9 N7 }
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
