for the preliminary interview:( B1 I! k; Z' E9 O7 a0 z, s

& ~. `8 ]4 L! a$ S3 @4 Q& x: Bthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......! G, ^! F7 P* ~. ]$ V- U9 s& F9 A
+ C% h6 W- ^* J$ w' C) T+ w7 ~+ F
for the extended interview:
7 h4 e/ h9 P) ?+ b# r
2 N: u( [" [- E5 P: ?it's divided into 2 sections,
8 m' j$ C1 B2 L* G- }  g1 is impromptu talk: _3 F% _$ u! `; l2 _
another is group discusion
- s" h% [/ k$ s* l1 F  q0 _. @# n; [
all conducted in english! L: v3 `/ y$ n  x( ^

" J% x' f; n6 Simpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

topic like "environment, biscuit...."

' X9 i& p0 U' i& I3 y5 F9 M7 i! Mgroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion# H/ B4 C$ {! R  O, y

, o( p" Q4 d/ B; mthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
