Mtron is a manufacturer of flash drives well known. The company produced the first SSD relatively interesting, although very expensive. Since the introduction of the second generation of flash drives, Mtron models are completely off track. New models were expected since mid-2008, with output announced in early 2009. They never arrived, and for good reason, the Korean company was facing bankruptcy a few months ago.

Today the European distributor of Mobi has had no contact with the plant for many weeks. Its inventory is completely empty; it cannot provide after-sales of the DSS, who were between 3 and 5 year warranty. Customers who chose to skip by Mtron, via this feedback form on their site, get no answer ... Adventure Mtron therefore appears as finite, to the detriment of customers. The industry also loses a producer controller (the Imation flash drives were signed based on the architecture Mtron example). RIP 12-12-2009, 07:10 AM
