I touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc.
- \, z m, n& h2 m0 e0 ]( F0 i* Y! [8 J2 h: i/ v" r
1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it.

When I touch the deceased, I kept telling myself this is not a person anymore, the person is gone and this (the body) is just the shell. If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up.- p/ w- I5 c1 D x3 Z" o
0 V- S* S( I. w4 o7 Y, IThe ones with accidents in the ER are really bad, but we're too busy trying to save him/her to pause and think. |
