How about at the hospital?

I touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc.7 i" y3 I3 z- o1 G3 o- F
C% Q) ~ {: }1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it.) m) f" o' J) N8 i
" N% {! k/ {. O8 Q8 R& fWhen I touch the deceased, I kept telling myself this is not a person anymore, the person is gone and this (the body) is just the shell. If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up.& a$ c% ^& q% c5 L1 E# s' h3 ~, [4 G
. d8 P7 {/ R9 r5 k7 R0 F- ~. c' `- F7 sThe ones with accidents in the ER are really bad, but we're too busy trying to save him/her to pause and think. |
