I touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc.

1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it.: m0 D }8 v$ I# Z4 _5 Y

When I touch the deceased, I kept telling myself this is not a person anymore, the person is gone and this (the body) is just the shell. If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up.9 s# M4 Q+ C( |9 j
: V0 Z4 @1 r+ Q1 a: v& I7 R! k1 xThe ones with accidents in the ER are really bad, but we're too busy trying to save him/her to pause and think. |
