其實有時認為政府就業問題呢方面如果做得好d既話,,

5 g5 V L g' L; W0 F, C失業率無咁高既話,自然香港人既消費意慾會上升8 V* d5 }- S9 Y4 R
但係失業呢個問題又要關注到 薪金方面, c: {5 e; [8 f
因為以小弟所認識,,大部份飲食業都係缺少人手,: c# }6 e2 b# n5 x O8 L

Yesterday, I watched the HK news online....
! G+ z- \4 R9 I( m, [# SIt says around 400 thousands people in HK earn less than 30 HKdollars per hour.

0 w' W h, T5 ^4 I$ kI believe the actual labour problem would be much worse than this since there is a number of people who are working part time with even lower wages, and a number of people who are unemployed at all.

. m* M) q( E, ?Our minimum wage for a full time employee for our province is $9.5 Canadian dollars per hour(probably around 71 HK dollars). So as long as you are full time employed, the employer will needs to pay you $9.5 per hour (even you are just working in McDonalds).

/ V% d8 I+ V) pMy conclusion is, if HK government doesn't set up a rule for the minimum wage, the basic salary would only get lower and lower because the employers would only push it as low as it can be.5 l( j2 b# |: }5 |. H4 ~) ^

+ W! v( h1 [8 o7 V9 ^Little bit of my own experience, when I first graduated a few years ago (before the economic crisis), my parents and relatives always ask me to go back to HK to find a job. 4 l9 Z; b1 h" `3 z) Y) ~7 Y9 P# d4 c
They always say like HK has more chances than in North America.' _4 g& s0 m6 ]0 ]6 `5 ^; p6 \: p) E

Honestly even right now, it would be easier for a person to find a job and get better pay in Canada or even US than in HK. |
