How about at the hospital?

I touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc.! a6 \' S" _/ w) S# ?( C+ T
* }) A& g- I8 H/ s& v$ n, M1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it.$ F0 n' k; Q6 j& _6 E% D( ?7 }- K
! e5 C& S2 V' ], ?5 p
When I touch the deceased, I kept telling myself this is not a person anymore, the person is gone and this (the body) is just the shell. If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up.

The ones with accidents in the ER are really bad, but we're too busy trying to save him/her to pause and think. |
