How about at the hospital?

3 h+ k$ l3 T8 a( n; r, dI touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc.* L6 i: n1 C& V+ @' n8 J) H' v3 v
( Z7 h" e6 u, w; d1 G1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it.) z4 ~! a' k8 k. r

When I touch the deceased, I kept telling myself this is not a person anymore, the person is gone and this (the body) is just the shell. If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up.* L1 x' t6 Q; ]8 e. q

The ones with accidents in the ER are really bad, but we're too busy trying to save him/her to pause and think. |
