I touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc.

# o2 f1 w# U! d' g. c' m% q1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it.

When I touch the deceased, I kept telling myself this is not a person anymore, the person is gone and this (the body) is just the shell. If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up.! c) A" H, F; N6 h3 S; d: u @" c
. O+ j& b! r0 p6 @# AThe ones with accidents in the ER are really bad, but we're too busy trying to save him/her to pause and think. |
