I touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc.4 P5 ]$ v j6 c2 _) E, E B9 f
) ]; W2 l- E2 ~4 u* K. F) t8 ?1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it.

+ h, [+ d: b/ I( `" sWhen I touch the deceased, I kept telling myself this is not a person anymore, the person is gone and this (the body) is just the shell. If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up.% t7 S" R k4 c) b0 _- W

The ones with accidents in the ER are really bad, but we're too busy trying to save him/her to pause and think. |
