How about at the hospital?

) n9 _. J# e; {/ u+ [# M* PI touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc.

1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it.

5 }) u) `8 ?8 h- S3 I1 IWhen I touch the deceased, I kept telling myself this is not a person anymore, the person is gone and this (the body) is just the shell. If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up.5 _7 m; w+ U: c! n; ] N
0 X$ e8 Q: z, U, F+ V0 |& t4 RThe ones with accidents in the ER are really bad, but we're too busy trying to save him/her to pause and think. |
