for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......- x7 n. f' v6 a* Z* J6 V/ E

for the extended interview:2 b1 b+ Q5 M4 S# A8 C+ ^
' d- E% j D; b5 B% W( W* O& {it's divided into 2 sections,

another is group discusion

all conducted in english

& y& Q! Z8 D c9 simpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare0 y f! N% E5 m- z1 f0 k! X

topic like "environment, biscuit...."

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion, i# o: e( { {

) l4 S% a4 t6 O! C8 P sfor final interview:

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!9 p/ P( h8 r- ~' K5 M. d) T
