for the preliminary interview:/ w+ K9 F* T8 `! z+ z

/ _, e2 j* F* @& M  Q9 ?, P) C* fthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

8 i+ e. n/ M, x) lit's divided into 2 sections," Z$ R9 R6 E6 r6 }
1 is impromptu talk
  l4 w1 D; O7 I" }% Fanother is group discusion
; [5 B9 }, G3 o" K/ F, d3 Q4 C: t% d9 _" a
all conducted in english
: k- d3 h6 o& s/ K/ u' G
  ^% J- \  B+ K) nimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare6 W* W- V8 b) v- `( u7 T

topic like "environment, biscuit...."

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion( T) x$ e( S3 ~, t( s* }

* _- X  \1 V( ^" X: i* d+ T4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes

' ]& H( f7 J* b5 A9 G( N" Kthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
