for the preliminary interview:

: P n2 b& U& M# Kthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......1 w V. d' S. }. w

for the extended interview:

it's divided into 2 sections,
7 x0 E. C1 W7 b$ R3 Z* q1 E1 is impromptu talk# K" z1 q. n3 T3 w& ]0 Y( Q
another is group discusion* D" x, i0 _# S5 o, l1 X
( N& }3 v) b) {4 F
all conducted in english

* q. P( y3 h4 t1 E: F N* x) f' dimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

topic like "environment, biscuit...."( V9 Y* m; O! P7 D2 i+ ~0 a E+ I$ H
3 g2 Z: n9 k$ b# m: B- b8 qgroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion. k3 f, r2 B8 Y6 V* i/ H1 H

2 n7 L& r( N' F' U' y3 \for final interview:

! {/ _* O( U& [; k4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
