1992-1994年主場落場版球衣



自1992年開始，曼聯球衣由Umbro贊助. 這款主場球衣並沒有發行過長袖的球迷版.因此長袖一定是落場版球衣.


Except for the commemorative replica shirt, all replica shirts have embossed UMBRO instead. For the the players shirts and the commemorative replica shirts, the UMBRO motifs are embroidered.


Like above, except for the commemorative replica shirt, all other replica shirts of this style should have the embossed Man Utd crest.
So you may ask, what's so special for this players shirt as a commemorative replica shirt has the same features??


The trick is here when we place the commemorative replica shirt with the players shirt together. Even though both shirts have the embroidered club crest, the size of the Man Utd crest is different.
Left: Replica shirt shows a smaller size embroidered Man Utd crest.
Right: Players shirt shows a bigger size embroidered Man Utd crest.  


The laces are different just like the away version:
Left: Replica shirt's lace has tied ends.
Right: Players shirt's lace has rough ends.


Left: Replica shirt shows the adoption of fuse-on type numbers.
Right: Players shirt shows the adoption of sewn-on cloth type numbers.
Owing to the fact that this players shirt was prepared for Champions League in season 1993-94, the numbers don't bear the UMBRO marks on them.


If we view from the inner side, the effect of sewn-on of cloth numbers is clearer.

右方:落場版球衣背後的號碼是繡布質料.

For this year, the embroidery effect in the front is not very conspicous, but once we turn into the inner side, we can see that the replica shirt has a piece of white cloth covering the embossed crest. The counterpart players shirt has the full embroidery.

For this year, the embroidery effect in the front is not very conspicous, but once we turn into the inner side, we can see that the replica shirt has a piece of white cloth covering the embossed crest. The counterpart players shirt has the full embroidery.




Friendly match version: Only SHARP sponsor is felt on the front of the shirt.
Premier League version: SHARP VIEWCAM sponsor is embossed on the front.
Cup Winners Cup version: absence of any logos owing to sponsorship restriction by UEFA.
Nevertheless, you can see that the Man Utd crest occupies a very large area of the shield shape on both versions.

1994-1995 Champions League 作客守門員落場版球衣




First of all, there is absolutely NO  replica version of this style goalkeeper shirt with SHARP sponsorship. Normal replica shirt should have SHARP VIEWCAM instead as sponsorship.


The adoption of shorten sponsor name was due to restriction by UEFA in Champions League.


Left: Like many UMBRO players shirt in that era, the UMBRO sponsor logo is embroidered into the shirt instead of raised embossed.
Right: From the inner side of the players shirt, the effect of embroidery is more conspicous.


For the replica shirt, the UMBRO logo is rather raised-embossed on the shirt.


Left: Man Utd club crest occupies a major portion of the shield-shape and is embroidered.
Right: From the inner side of the players shirt, the effect of embroidery is more conspicous.


For the replica shirt, the club crest is not embroidered into the shirt.


Left:This players shirt was worn in a single away Champions League match against Barcelona in season 1994-95 and thus the special embroidery type Champions League badge is sewn.
Right: From the inner side, we can see that the badge is sewn onto the shirt.



Top: Normal replica version shirt has SHARP VIEWCAM as the sponsorship.

The number on the backside is a typical UMBRO style block type fuse-on number. However, absolutely NO umbro rhombuses are applied onto the numbers are this is a special feature for Champions League games those days. Moreover, no names were ironed onto the Champions League shirts.

Shirt of this style was used for three consecutive seasons, 1994-95, 1995-96 and 1996-97.
Paul Scholes wore #24 in 1994-95, #22 in 1995-96 and #18 in 1996-97.
