for the preliminary interview:" n* p7 y% w3 C' o1 m# [2 W* e

6 _" l/ f) L& F& V7 M, P0 Zthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......! l: B0 u3 h* [# z/ Y

4 X9 H; G- B+ \for the extended interview:' X; \. O" ], @) E4 f

# A* a1 N$ m( z% ~it's divided into 2 sections,) Q0 T+ w  V, W9 D: n7 E+ L
1 is impromptu talk
! L6 G4 \2 s+ z& p) Z9 ]another is group discusion9 j3 \/ V* \+ X" H5 _
7 q( [# D, ]9 c4 r+ ^! @  S9 l
all conducted in english$ H9 O* Q( x  j6 g- v' I8 a

, {' |6 m& O8 Z4 T7 M" Oimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare8 C/ ?1 z$ @4 q2 L

& z5 L5 ?6 B2 v" ~group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!2 l( s; }9 ?, ^& h
